Why did you decide to be a part of the 2019 London PA Awards?
To support and celebrate the future of the world of PAs - having been part of it since its launch.
Which attributes do you feel make PA’s so fundamental in 2019?
Never has the Role of the Right Hand been so important - from global instability across borders, to the changing face of international politics - businesses need the best support possible to navigate these unprecedented times.
Which skills do PA’s need, now more than ever?
Certainly one eye on the future and tech savvy, but high Emotional Intelligence is needed to navigate all of the robots :)
If you could change or further support the PA community in any way, what would you do?
I would implement a National PA day where bosses had to work for their PA :) Seriously though, I think it is by continuing to come together at events like this and celebrate our successes more. Hopefully at some stage a national media sponsor will take note of this initiative and spread the news far and wide.
What is your proudest career moment so far?
Being part of the founding of an industry group, The Network and celebrating our 15th year has been a pretty special time. I’m mostly proud of the PA community rather than anything specific I’ve done as such.
What is your personal goal for 2019?
Personally, I need more downtime, and have already booked two trips to travel to places I’ve not been before. Travel helps the mind unravel!
